LOAA presents: The Long Lost Oakland Walking Tour by Liam O'Donoghue

Expect an eclectic mix of stories on this ~90-minute walk that will begin in front of Oakland City Hall and end in the Latham Square. During the stroll, we'll delve into the history of the people and places that have shaped the "The Town" – and also pay respect to the Ohlone culture that preceded the colonization of the East Bay. In the midst of downtown’s rapid transformation, the Long Lost Oakland will explore (and hopefully spark conversations about) how we got here.

About the guide: Liam O’Donoghue is the host and producer of East Bay Yesterday, which was named “The Best Podcast about the East Bay” by the East Bay Express. This independently-produced series explores stories of culture, politics and nature from Oakland, Berkeley and other towns throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
